Mozart’s trilogy of operas composed to librettos by Lorenzo Da Pontedelight and entertain audiences with their combination of sublime musicand their mix of humour, romance and drama. Cosi Fan Tutte, also knownas ‘the school for lovers,’ stars a cast of young rising stars, conducted bySemyon Bychkov, in this 2016 production playfully set in a theatre. KasperHolten’s production of Don Giovanni reveals the inner turmoil of theeponymous antihero, sung by Mariusz Kwiecien. Erwin Schrott, MiahPersson and Gerald Finley star in David McVicar’s production of Le nozzedi Figaro, one of the world’s most beloved operas.
